Somewhere between the 13th and the 16th centuries, Ghent obtained its charming medieval city character by building gothic cathedrals, city halls, and other architectural landmarks. Nowadays, these buildings resemble centuries of history and go hand-in-hand with the city’s modern creativity. This makes it easy to create a unique photograph in the city, but more importantly: it gives the best museums in Ghent an extra dimension.
